Each animal in Humane Society of Harris County’s care goes through a complete health evaluation including spaying or neutering, vaccination and micro chipping.  During its stay at our facility it receives regular maintenance care such as heartworm and flea preventative, grooming and of course feeding.

The support of each animal as it awaits it’s forever family is a financial drain. By sponsoring an animal you enable the HSHC to expand its reach into the community to help other animals.  There are several levels of sponsorship:

Intake Sponsor

supports the intake of an animal when it enters the shelter                            $95

Maintenance Sponsor

supports the monthly care of an animal as it awaits adoption                        $30

Special Needs Sponsor

Supports the extraordinary expenses associated with an animal’s
medical or training expenses that will make it ready for adoption                $50
 
Each sponsor receives a photo and description of the animal he or she is helping and HSHC recognizes their support at our adoption sites and shelter locations.
